WHAT IS MICROBLADING

Microblading is semi permanent tattoo for eyebrows. It is the manual process of creating hair-like strokes using a hand held microblade and depositing pigment into the skin. This process corrects un-even brow shape making brows looks fuller and thicker. This is an excellent treatment for those who have over plucked or no longer grow brow hair.

PRIOR TO YOUR TREATMENT

Please refrain from taking aspirin or drinking excessive amount of alcohol 24 hours before.We ask that you wear your everyday makeup to the appointment.

POLICIES

We require $100 deposited to secure your booking time.  In the event 24 hours notice is not given when canceling or rescheduling, your deposit will not be refunded due to the short notice and having to decline other clients.

COUNTER INDICATIONS

Microblading cannot be performed over scars ,if you are taking accutane, undergoing radiation, pregnant, breast feeding, on medications for acne, suffer from eczema, psoriasis or any other skin conditions that could compromise healing.

TREATMENT STEPS

First appointment 2.5 hours

Client medical forms are filled out and signed, followed by a consultation discussing the shape, colour, blade size and expectations.

Numbing cream is applied, eye brows are measured and shape is drawn.

The process will start with the first strokes being made, which are called the foundation strokes. This may feel like a pinch or needle. 

Once the foundation strokes are made on both eyebrows the pigment is deposited and additional numbing gel is applied for your comfort.

The second set of strokes will be made to fill in between foundation strokes and add more pigment. 

AFTER YOUR TREATMENT

The colour intensity will be significantly sharper and darker immediately after the procedure but will fade and become softer as the skin heals, this process can take up to 14 days.

The area will show signs of redness, swelling and intense colour~ this is normal~

PRICE 

A microblading consultation is a 30 minute mandatory appointment where medical forms are filed out, measurements are taken, pigment colour is discussed and eye brow shaping may be done to aid in measurements and check skin health. $30

.Microblading Revision is any microblading one year post initial appointment and can be considered a touch up or maintenance, the cost of this is $400

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

It is recommended not to drink alcohol the night before your appointment due to blood thinning.

Skin should be clean of all eye make up and self tanners. Tanning or direct sun exposure should be stopped 7 days prior. We encourage a consultation in person, by phone or email to better service your needs, and explore all options. 

FIRST APPOINTMENT

Allot 2.5-3 hours, please remove your makeup around your brow area and arrive at least 5 min early to fill out your form and  numbing cream can be applied 

AFTER YOUR TREATMENT

Please follow these instructions for at least 5 days after the procedure to improve and prolong the results of your brows. If instructions are not followed it can greatly affect your microblading results!
Avoid getting the area wet for up to 14 days, which includes keeping your face dry during a shower.  If your eyebrows get wet during the healing process, pat them dry with a towel, DO NOT RUB.
Avoid saunas, swimming, and excessive sweating until the area is completely healed and you have a follow-up appointment.
Do not expose treated area to direct sunlight.  No sun-tanning or salon tanning.  After healed (30 days), use a sunscreen to avoid fading from the sun.
No makeup should be applied directly on the brows during the healing process.  Avoid using daily skincare products directly on the eyebrows.
Do not touch, rub, pick or scratch your brows following treatment or during healing process.  You may find that your eyebrows will scab or become slightly dry following the treatment. If they itch, DO NOT SCRATCH them. 
Apply any medicated cream or healing balm  as directed by your technician.
To maintain results  try to schedule a “touch-up” of your microbladed eyebrows at least once a year.
